Innovitech, Partner of
Quebec’s Science and Technology Parks
Innovitech is proud to be associated to
the science and technology park development in Quebec; over
the last 20 years, these organizations have generated more
than 22,000 high-skilled jobs and built unique collaborative
sites, where intellect stimulation, entrepreneurship and
research combine and create a stimulating and attractive
quality lifestyle.
Moreover, many of these parks have
developed world-class specialties making Quebec’s
international renown in knowledge centres all over the
world.
In support to competitiveness clusters
and to regional economic development stakeholders, parks are
at the same time real estate promoters for their region,
animators for science and technology groups including SMBs,
research institutes, large business and entrepreneurship
start-ups, worldwide networking catalysts in strategic
sectors and providers of specialized services to businesses
located on their site for growth purposes.
Innovitech has developed over the years a
solid practice with major science and technology parks and
the Association des parcs de recherche et technopoles du
Québec (APRTQ); among its realizations, Innovitech has
inspired park competitiveness innovative strategies in
response to the emergence of specialized parks in Asia, the
revival of economic growth of American university parks and
the fast growth of European competitiveness poles.
Thanks to its many initiatives with
science and technology parks, its renowned methodology
approach and its innovation at stake comprehensive vision
– both at a global and a specific
level – Innovitech is a privileged strategic partner to all
actors in innovation.
Innovitech’s innovative strategies
promote a greater synergy between universities and
industries, the development of parks as sustainable
development showcases and a solid and dynamic network
involving emerging businesses, SMB and large companies.
These strategies are inspired, among
others, by Battelle’s analysis report made recently on
behalf of the Association of University Research Parks (AURP).
